South Africa's anti-corruption office and the Public Protector said their investigations reviewed that the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, did nothing wrong when a large sum of money was stolen from his farm which was hidden in a sofa.

But Mr Ramaphosa has been told to be honest about where the money came from and what he did when it was stolen. This issue made Mr Ramaphosa almost resign.

Before the investigation was sent to the public, the leader of the security forces, Mr Ramaphosa made a mistake when he put the law in his hands and started an investigation without introducing the police.
